Breaking News: Tentative Agreement Reached

Thank You to Our Parent, Student, and Community Speakers!
        ARE is united and committed to achieving a fair contract that respects our students, this community, and us as professional educators. The ARE bargaining team has met with the state appointed mediator on three dates thus far: February 11, February 21, and March 5. 
        At the March 12 Board Meeting, numerous speakers addressed the RUSD Board, Dr. Mitchell, and cabinet in support of reaching a fair contract agreement with ARE.  The Association continues to work diligently toward achieving a fair contract through the mediation process. The ARE bargaining team submitted a confidential proposal through the mediator prior to the March 12 Board meeting with the goal of providing the RUSD Board the opportunity to discuss it during closed session. The Association hopes for a counter offer through the mediator prior to our next mediation date, scheduled for May 15. Stay tuned for more updates.

3/5 Mediation Day Picketing & Leafleting at Elementary & K8 Sites!

embers are needed at elementary and K8 sites for picketing and leafleting on our next mediation day (March 5). Secondary staff,  please join one of your nearby feeder schools. We need to clearly communicate to Julie Mitchell, the RUSD Board, and the Mediators
